English companion poem
Fifty Years of Shit
Fifty years of shit, it’s bound to have a stench,
Flush it all at once, you’ll break the heavy wrench.
Better take it piece by piece, let it slowly drop,
Cut it into sections, so the overflow will stop.
Anyone who’s backed up knows the heavy kind of toll,
Three days in the gut is enough to break your soul.
Hold it in for fifty years, it’s a terrifying load,
Finally the valve is turned, before we all explode
The ones who forced the plug in, you better hold your ground,
Gagged from speaking mother tongue, a suffocating sound.
Called us cheap and vulgar, laughed until we’re mute,
Born with this from day one—there is no substitute.
My Taiwanese shits, it’s a massive heavy block,
Many different cesspools, held by different locks.
Every kind of tyranny uses the same old trick,
Gotta know the brand of plug, before you take the kick
When you clear the cavern, don't just let it fly,
Many years of darkness makes the tapeworms wanna cry.
Before the heavy dropping, the gas has to blow,
A silent, deadly warning, to let the whole room know.
Shit comes in a hundred forms, depending on the squeeze,
My Taiwanese shit is sung to bring 'em to their knees.
Sing it slow and steady, watch the pressure fade,
Wait until the very end, to see the mess I made.
I hope this gives you courage, to fight the heavy hand,
Use a piece of art to clean the promised land.
Oppression is a habit, a subtle kind of tone,
Look and ask yourself, whose plug is on the throne?
The words are fucking ugly, but the tuning is dead right,
Hear it just a single time, it keeps you up at night.
To all the moral preachers, shut your fucking mouth,
Go clean your own damn toilet, before it all goes south.
